Dr. Schutz - Waxnomor Floor Finish - 5.5 Liters (Gloss)

Dr. Schutz Waxnomor Finish is a Polyurethane finish that provides maximum protection from abrasion for vinyl, LVT, natural rubber, concrete and stone floors. The Waxnomor Finish is DIN 18032.2 compliant for anti-slip and shine level and meets the international standards for multi-purpose gyms and basketball facilities and is eco-friendly.

Directions:

1. Prior to application, the floor must be thoroughly mechanically cleaned with a green pad using the Schutz Slip Waxnomor Stripper. The floor surface must be clean and dry, free from dust, grease, oil, wax, and floor care product residues. In the case of linoleum and other floor types with a factory protective finish, this must be removed completely.

2. Shake up the canisters containing the Waxnomor Finish and the Cross Linker well. Add the Cross Linker to the Waxnomor Finish canister and throughly mix both components by shaking thoroughly.

2A. If partial quantities are mixed, always mix Waxnomor Finish and Cross Linker in a ratio of 10:1 and by adding the Cross Linker to the Waxnomor Finish.

2B. Room and working temperature: 60 - 75 degrees F.

3. For pro-active long term protection and initial protection, roll out the Waxnomor Finish mixture evenly over the floor using the Waxnomor Applicator Roller. Commence work on the side with the most light (as a rule this is the side of the room where there is a window) and work away from the light source. This will make it possible to keep an eye on the floor during work and immediately correct any problems.

4. Apply the Waxnomor Finish mixture with the Waxnomor Applicator Roller, working in sections of a maximum of 10 feet in width at right angles to the light source (i.e., parallel to the window wall) and then roll it out evenly towards the light. Avoid the formation of pools.

5. Allow the finish to dry for at least 2 hours but still on the same day, Apply a 2nd application on the same day. You must apply the second application on the same day. A second application increases the level of protection.

6. The floor can be walked on with light foot traffic 2 hours after the application of the final coating. The floor is ready for normal use after 12 hours. During the first 24 to 48 hours it is best to use caution. The protective film reaches its final level of hardness after 7 days at room temperature.

Notes: Once mixed, the Waxnomor Finish and the Cross Linker are suitable for use for approximately 4 hours at the prescribed working temperatures of 60-75 degrees F. For this reason, only mix the quantity of Waxnomor finish that can be applied within this period of time. Where Waxnomor and Cross Linker are subjected to higher temperatures, the working time is reduced considerably. In case of cold components, the mixing procedure cannot be performed with sufficient thoroughness. Do not tightly seal the canister containing ready-mixed Waxnomor Finish and Cross Linker Mixture because this can cause build-up of reactive gases.
